CHUNKY MONKEY AND WHAT HAPPENED?

VISIT TO JOHNSON COUNTY FAIR After all that I was going to blog today and it wont open,. Boys had a Blast!!! Ian sad Baa Baa to the sheep and goats and had me in hysterics!!!!! Jake made friends with the police, the sheriff and the fire chief, he LOVES his sheriff badge!!! He wanted a ride in the brand new sheriff car!! They both LOVED the curly fries and thought they were Funny!!! Ian loved the chicken it was real chicken too, Jake loved the cakes in the cake arena, Ian flirted with everyone but if they came near the head turned he is so shy!!! Jake said he wanted Ice cream so we stopped and got icecream so an all round KID fun day!!! Granny enjoyed it too being that she is a farm girl. Granny wants to go to the state fair, JUST NEWS We got home and the boys were SOOOOOOO dirty they were thrown in the tub . Not literally, they sure smelled a whole lot better afterwards, and were ready for a BIG nap.I have tried twice to upload the photos and videos to do the blog on my 3rd time and last for today, !!!!!! You cant type while they are loading, so I'm Emailing in case they don't load, Had a GREAT day they played out the front before Ians morning Nap, Jake will not do school work lately but has fun doing other things, he had bowls and things on the deck I made colored water he had a Blast playing with that, and sand, we read stories, and when Ian got up we just goofed around a bit then had lunch, every day this week accept yesterday when we were out Jake has eaten LOTS of carrots and a Little broccoli,. He has been eating Great, then because they ate all their lunch we went for a treat to the yogurt shop, Ian was screeching for his LOL, Jake loves to go there, I prefer Orange leaf way more choices, but it was a fun little outing, then we came home and it was late so they had their Nap. Days go fast trying to fit in fun for both. WERE NOT FEELING GOOD Not sure what's going on in this household today, jakes been fairly happy but not himself, has consistently complained of his mouth hurting inside, I cant see anything but he wouldn't open wide anyway. He wanted graham crackers but would not eat hardly any lunch even though I bought chicken strips and fries , that was because it was a request and not feeling good myself it seemed easy, he wouldn't touch his carrots yogurt and didn't even drink much sprite, so I don't think he is feeling great and or his throat or mouth is sore. He did water play again and we kept everything low key, Ian slept upstairs because I didn't think I would do any heavy lifting up and down today, my back is doing better though, Ian has been happy on and off but grumpy on and off and not ate as well. We did get the kitty and Jake and Ian enjoyed that then we played a few minutes at my house with them. I'm feeling very Puny still feeling its a major migraine but with the boys being off I'm wondering if we all have a "Virus" and I have a migraine too, I have an itchy throat that's starting to feel sore . No knowing at this point but we are a sorry bunch, all resting right now. Hopefully its nothing and a good nights sleep and we will all be fine tomorrow. Not great exciting things going on other than the kitty which was a definite hit JAKES A BIG BOY Meant to tell you I have been working on Jake's "chores" he clears the dishes each day after meals and gets the mats when I ask, then helps tidy toys., the last few days he has frequently said granny I go tidy up and done it without being asked,. Today at lunch (not that I could eat) he said granny I get the mats heres yours heres mine heres Jake's without me even telling him. He is such a good boy and growing up to be so helpful and sweet about his "chores" . Sometimes I'm not consistent but I try to be. Love that boy he is such a delight, while I will miss him SOOOO much at Preschool I feel I have put a lot of work into him and will continue when he is home, but I will enjoy working one on one with Ian on his days alone with me because he has not had quite the work Jake had because there is two. Ians Got a smile that will get him everywhere !!!!
