We have had a Frustrating day but made it fun!!
waiting for Mr Mulch man took a long time it is now 3pm and he is still not here! but we had a nice lunch with Gramps at I hop and both boys ate it all up, Gramps was a last minute decision made by Jake, but Gramps did not hesitate!!
We had an interesting drive home from school, there was an Extra Extra large load coming down Shawnee mission parkway. with the Head trucks and flashing lights with was very exciting to the boys, we drove very carefully down the side if it because only one lane was free, and even that you had to be careful on, well there was a vehicle decided to go between the head truck and the HUGE load, how silly is that, Granny said the Bad Word STUPID driver, and then sorry Ian that was a Bad word but they are going to cause a Wreck driving so crazy, both boys said its OK Granny. then the person started honking their horn because the Head truck stopped HA HA. and waited for them to get out of the lane so they could do their job and lead the large load on through to I-35 , so everyone was blocked until the STUPID driver got it that they really were Stupid!!!! Ian and Jake both said they really were Stupid Granny, then Ian blew it and said Granny it must have been a Woman!!!!!!! Kevin what are you teaching this Kid?? next he said Mommy drives Crazy, Daddy Drives Crazy, Jacob joined in with Mommy Drives Crazy Daddy Drives Crazy, And I thought Granny drives Crazy but they said Not you granny You drive Great!! so I get the treasure chest today ) not sure how that works because I'm pretty sure I'm a Woman!!!
Next little episode with Ian he was being really mean to Jake I said Ian why did you be so mean to Jake, (I was in the toilet) I heard it all and witnessed some when he didn't realize I was out of the toilet. He said cos I knew you couldn't see!! I said But I can hear. He responded with, Oh even in the potty Granny , I said yes even in the potty, Oh I sorry Granny!!!! to cute to get angry with!!!!
Ian had a GREAT time making Easter craft today we really had a nice one on one time, Jake is enjoying his time making some this afternoon.

Naughty Granny needs to do blog or the gooster pig will get her
I need to have all you folk that read the blog come and spank me to remind me I need to do the blog more often, I know you miss valuable moments with these boys , that will be forever kept to share at that special moment throughout life when I fail to record them here!! I will try to do better you are all welcome to remind me at jennywa66@gmail.com where I will hang my head in shame if I'm reminded , or just fall asleep and say tomorrow!!!!!
Ian is a Funny Monkey, Jake is no longer a Chunky monkey, maybe we need a new name for the Blog! and believe me Ian is a Monkey!
He knows and is quite happy to tell you he gets into mischief, of course as he is saying it the eyes sparkle the big smile from ear to ear takes over his cute face! that boy brightens my day even when he is Naughty which is most days, because he is so Stinking CUTE!!!!!
Yesterday was so so Funny I will share the Email I sent to Mommy and Daddy I don't want to Type it all again :)
Ian wanted a date to go with just me for Pancakes then to wonders cope . No time for wonder scope so next choice was pet land when we got there be yelled . Granny granny granny a gooster pig .I said where and he pointed to a guinea pig. Problem solved l
Ian had been talking about Gooster pigs for a While so you understand the Story I laughed so Loud the whole store Heard!!
Bless his Little heart when he gets in trouble he is so upset with himself, and its so hard because it is easy to forget he is 3, he has such good vocabulary, and is smart! plus he really wants to not be mischievous we will call it, and after all it is fun to pee up the wall and over the floor, it makes cool pictures and makes smoke come out of Granny's eyes and nose she is so upset with him. then the look change to oops I'm in trouble, big Trouble, Big BIG trouble, I don't get to go in the treasure chest today, Now I'm sad was that moment of free expression with my art work done with pee really worth the effort! HMM no because My brother got to go in the treasure chest, so I climbed on granny with my blanky and said I love you Granny and I sorry, I going to be good Boy tomorrow, I go in treasure chest, Granny wants to give in So badly but doesn't!! Sigh
Ian Loves to go to wonder scope he will play there for hours if we have time, but Ian just loves to be home, he is happy to play, color, read story's, snuggle, and most of all play with his HERO brother, plus have his mommy and daddy home.
We have just just had spring Break , we did have a couple of warm days with picnics in the park, that was a Lot of fun, were all suffering from Cabin fever, the boys need to run, and they did!!
We had a couple of nice dates one with Darlene a Lady friend of Granny's who has watched them grow up, shes 10 years older than Granny but very beautiful and active, she loves the boys , we went to cracker barrel, she could not believe how well behaved and well mannered they were I'm so proud of them, I bet you all are too, After the breakfast we went to a place called Cosmic Jump, it has lots of trampolines and bounce houses the boys had so much fun, I don't know how the could bounce and jump for an hour after eating but they did, they were so exhausted they wouldn't eat lunch but slept for 3 hours. even Jake.
one Day we went to Monkey Business and Fritz's for lunch, again A fun day for all, Jake's almost getting to big for Monkey business and sadly the one for big kids is closing, they enjoyed Fritz's for lunch the best part being sharing a sundae because they ate all their food,
Jake is a fine young boy he has changed so much, especially eating, he will try most things now , he eats most vegetables, raw not cooked but that's OK, he still does not like cheese unless in mac and cheese, or grilled cheese, but is a bottomless pit, lunch time it seems I cant fill him. or Ian. Jake is even learning to order things other than Mac and Cheese out mainly because I rarely let him order it, (I'm mean ) but its good he is so much better than a couple of years ago when it was so hard to feed him. He is fun to be with and talk to, his head is so full of knowledge, (and Fantasy) , He wants to go on a Date with me if he gets time off School when Ian is not around, all these dates, I get more dates now than when I was 16 !!! (not really) he wants to pay he said :) I like that even better.
he is a charmer too, gets that from daddy, wonder if that's where they get their temper too?
being quiet now time to try to load some photos, before Mr Ian Wakes up!
You will see many photos and a lot are similar, I cant choose the ones I want to post because I love all their little expressions, even when they are grumpy granny is taking photos again!! that's usually Ian, Jake quite likes posing :), the bubble bath ones I LOVE they were having so much fun! being snow men. and growing beards etc. the trampoline park was a huge hit, it frustrates me kids activities are so expensive even for little children. there are two wounded warriors on the pictures, Ian is frequently hurting himself and frequently his head, the one you see was a tiny cut he got hitting his head on the granite counter it bled a lot and scared his poor brother so much Jake was crying his little heart out, Jake shut his sucking thumb in something and right now I forget what it was but it sure hurt him, Boys will be boys, We had a a date and head Breakfast out side at Le peep one of our favorite places! it was a beautiful day! Jake is so observant. if were in a store he will often pick up and say, Here granny Gluten free pancakes, or Gluten Free pizza, he knows Granny has to have Gluten Free, last week he saw Gluten Free in I think Aldis, and picked out Gluten Free Pancakes, today we had them for lunch with fruit and vegetables for our healthy food, they were delicious, good Pick Jake, he takes care of granny!!!
There are some cute pictures in the park ,looks like two gnomes sitting with the First daffodils!! beautiful day we stayed a Long time and had a picnic there. that was Black hoof park its an awesome park with walking trail around the lake, nice picnic area and play equipment for all ages, these boys pick for the big kids of course, bad part this day was the toilets were closed and the only porta potty was NASTY, so I held Ian up and wouldn't let any part of him touch anywhere, then sanitized me, Ian doing craft at wonder scope, he loves the craft room there!! and the Lego room. You will see some lovely flowers and a Cake, that was to celebrate my 6th anniversary with the Boys , it does not seem possible yet I cant imagine life without them,. last but not least we made Jesus tomb for our Easter project, we were very pleased with how it turned out , the boys enjoyed making it, we really do have a lot of fun together!!
The boys have great conversations and one day we were taking about Easter, and what we celebrate Easter For, Ian being 3 said Its about Jesus because he likes Candy, he was on the right track and it was very cute, Jake said NO NO!!! Its about Jesus Dying on the cross for our Sins and there were 2 thief's with him, but he forgaved them. Ian its NOT about Candy, But we may get some. almost 3 years age difference but a world of difference in thinking. Ian said Oh, yes Granny its about Jesus Dieding on the cross for our sins!! don't you love them!!
Today was weird were so used to the cleaners coming on friday we kept thinking it was movie night, we tried so hard to not make one crumb so mommy could have one night with a Clean tidy house!!
