we picked some asparagus but even though we were early it was well picked out already, so we didn't get as much as we wanted, we picked Mustard greens, Kale, and spinach, then granny bought Lots of strawberry Plants maybe 20 or more because they were 50c. we bought lots of veggies to lots of types of tomatoes even purple to grow and Yellow, plus goose neck squash , kale,and cauliflowers I forget what else I must be getting old like granny, It was so much fun, we had a wagon Ian rode in and I pulled it so he took care of the plants they were all half price , some of the strawberry's had Berry's on already, Ian and I LOVED looking at the plants and choosing different unusual things to grow, I surprised granny and ate quite a bit of Raw asparagus do you believe her!!!! I like raw broccoli carrots asparagus and cooked corn and green beans I told the lady , she said Im doing great, Ian and I liked picking up sticks and being stick collectors granny was happy she bought wipes with her to clean us up, but it was Fun!!! they will have other asparagus soon and potato's and sweet potato were not sure what else , they have trikes to ride and a fort to play plus a beautiful kitty cat, today their daughter was having a hue yard sale for college and granny bought a heap of books and VCR tapes for 25c each we wanted lots of things but they were not for kids, I wanted a blue tooth LOL it looked like fun. and a voice recorder, an old tape player, But granny said that's because I'm a boy and wanted to see what it was made of, I asked granny can we go again so she said we could then I said your a Farmer and Gramps too, but Granny said Gramps doesn't do the garden he hates it so shes the farmer lady, we love farms, so Granny's happy to take us to different farms to visit and pick things! especially when the weathers good!
We were hungry and running late so we stopped for quick lunch at Junk McDonald, Ian wanted cheese burger he ate it all. but not many of his fries, we had apple juice not soda, and I had nuggets then because we had been very very good boys we had a small ice cream, IT was a VERY good day out We like Fridays we usually have lots of fun!! Granny said she liked all the fun and was going to have more fun and relax a while she was worn out, and she was going to have more cheese cake!!!! Yummy.
Shes happy were back on the blog because everyone can see we still have LOTS of fun ,and Granny's old but can still do fun things with us,.
