Part of our excuse is lazy then the blog was down, but better late than never!!! we are so busy these days then afternoons Ian sleeps and we relax or chat or rest or do other things!!!!!
Can you believe in 13 Days Jake finishes kindergarten for summer break then goes into 1st grade!!! all day at school Granny will miss him so much after having him home almost 7 years!!!!
Life is changing way to fast,
I will try to catch you up on the last two weeks, the 17th Granny was not with us she went on a retreat, then the 20th she was really sick with a fever and vomiting, she was not happy after a lovely retreat!!!
the 21st was pre school and school then we came home and rested because Granny still didn't feel  the best,
the 22nd was school and Ian and granny went to the Pet Store at Ian's request we bought Suki some new things for when she had her babies, Ian wanted so badly to bring a kitty home that kept crying to get out to him. in the Doggy Day care were Great Dane's and little dogs, the great Dane almost squashed the little dogs trying to play, Ian thought it was so Funny!!
The 23rd We went out for lunch because we thought the cleaners were coming in the morning we are so silly we got it all messed up, Jake ate a funny face pancake and 2 regular pancakes , he is a bottomless pit these days they both are!! most days they have a Smoothie made from veggies and fruits so they eat a lot of good food too!!
the 24th was our regular going out day and we didn't go out it was raining but we did fun things at home and one thing we did was made Mug cakes they were Yummy when they came out of the microwave but they didn't keep very well!!granny tries to think of fun things to do but sometimes ideas slip her crazy old mind, one thing she has us do every day though is our chores and stories!!! sometimes we don't want to but then we don't get things from the treasure chest! especially if we don't listen that gets her Very upset with us!! I wonder why :) oh and today Ian and Granny went and Got new library books!!!

now were almost caught up, this week seems to have been busy ,but don't seem to have done a lot, Monday the 27th Granny took Ian and he watched 5 puppies being born he just loved it so much, he was very excited!! then Jake went to see them after school and had lunch at Granny's house, why does Granny's food taste better?
Tuesday we went and held a puppy after school and preschool  and that was very cool , but only for a minute because the mommy doesn't like it,
Wednesday Ian went shopping for mothers day and he was very specific what he wanted for mommy!!  they also went to overland markets but it was closed, so Ian remembered the clock tower bakery and Begged to go there , that made granny happy to she got a cookie and Coffee Ian got a Cinnamon roll and Juice, they sat on High chairs and just chatted, then they walked around the old town just chatting, Ian said it was a great date and he liked Dating Granny, here is the letter Granny sent Mommy,

We had a fun day!! Ian had a Very definite plan some I cant talk about yet, but we did go to the overland park market which was closed, so he remembered the Clock tower coffee shop and wanted VERY badly to go there which we did, He said this is I great Date granny I love going on dates with you, I think dates with mommy daddy and Granny will remain his safest forever!!!!

We then did our other secret and also got him his sticker book after walking around old overland park just chatting,

We got Jake from school , it was a beautiful day so we grabbed some MacDonald and went to antioch park to play and picnic, it was truly a happy fun  day, with lots of Lego building too!! Love those boys!!!

Granny

Today was Preschool and school home lunch and Rest nothing overly exciting, lots of gibber jabber coming home and requests to eat here and there but HA HA we ate at Home!! Ian was Kind of Cranky and and Tired so he needed to go to Bed!!'

I'm sure with summer break coming there will be a Lot more excitement to report!! hope you at least enjoy the pictures!

life changing

It is getting very hard to talk through the children these days, monkeys are small these boys are no longer small and the next thing is Apes, I sure don't want to call them apes!! they speak very well for themselves, in fact Ian speaks to well for himself  and not always the best things are said! especially if he is mad, we no longer have chunky monkeys we have a tall thin monkey and a shorter monkey that's growing taller and slimming down, but a new name for a Blog is not coming to mind, summer break Jake is going to start doing part of the blog , I will assist him but he will share his summer activities! it seems time to quit talking for him and let him talk for himself unless there is something I really want to share for memories sake!
We are making leaps and bounds with our eating, Jake is Loving his food, every day for lunch we make smoothies, with kale or /and spinach and fruits in it, our favorite this week has been apples,strawberries and banana with the green vegetable, plus one with carrots!! Ian isn't as keen but he drinks a whole Glass by persuasion!  they will have big muscles and good immune systems! they love so many foods now but also eat some because they just have to, one favorite this week which Nana will remember  is a home made chip buttie!! not healthy but with the Smoothie we can excuse it! they thought that was delicious!
As they say you can take the Girl out of England but cant take England out of the Girl, its fun trying some of the old favorites on the boys!
Ian likes a bacon and egg sandwich, Jake just the Bacon,
we went to the pet store this week at Ian's request, he saw the Gooster Pigs, and loved the Doggies playground plus kitties!
Tuesday after school we went to Lunch at Chili's  with their friends then to monkey Business, it was so much fun they played for hours then both crashed on the sofa for a nap, it took them 2 minutes, I went to the rest room when I returned they were asleep,
Wednesday we had a stay at home easy day after school of course, Ian colored played to his hearts content,
Today we were going to the Park but we didn't have control of ourselves in the car so granny said no park we will go home, it was not accepted very well , and one little boy was surprised when we got home and realized I meant it :) plus daddy was home. one big boy could not contain himself and the first thing he tried to do was tell daddy the little one was in trouble, Kids!!!!!
I have to say the little one has been very sweet since then, full of kisses and cuddles, I'm not excusing him but I wonder if he was tired and hungry,
He did tell me mommy said he could have one of my puppies!! I'm not sure that's true I believe about a 1/4 of what he says he has some pretty big imagination,
he will have the biggest, tallest,fattest (maybe not) strongest, bravest,daddy in the world!!!! that's our Ian ,
and the smartest, prettiest, most awesome Mommy,
Granny's OK but shes mean :)
never a Dull moment Here.

Cant wait for summer break I have missed most of the last 2 due to injury! I want to have fun with these bundles of energy
