Out with a Bang

Today was my last day to celebrate Summer break before I'm a  Big school boy, Ian has a few more days with granny, We did it with a Bang, A big surprise Granny had for us and we LOVED it we begged to go back again!!
We started our day with Le Peep Our favorite breakfast place I ate ALL my big funny face pancake and Granny's bacon!!! Ian ate Eggs with cheese, a Pancake and sausage and ate it ALL but a couple of bites of sausage we were starving!! granny says were bottomless pits these days!! Ian called it Lepoop!
After that we went to a place Ian chose to go its pet land where they sell Lots of Pets including Beautiful Puppies, Granny asked Did they have a Girl Shihtzu, and they did only one and she had been looking for a Long time, she wanted Mochi to have a Wife because he misses puddles and granny doesn't want to talk about that, So we had a little girl shihtzu and played with her in the puppy cubicles where you can get to know your puppy and had toys to play with!! she loved us and we laughed and laughed, she  played with our feet, we begged granny to let us get her we did not know granny already had in her mind to get her, not did granny because she had given up ever finding one,at a reasonable price they are expensive Dogs,  she called Gramps he said OK it was their Christmas Gift, she he came to take her home because we were not going home, she has a micro chip and everything, we were so excited the people said you boys are so excited aren't you and we had big smiles on our faces jumping up and down!!!. so we got an extra surprise today and we want to see her Monday!! she tickles, Granny Said that was an unexpected Expensive outing.
Then granny said do you want another surprise we said we already had Lots of surprises , but granny said I have a REALLY good one for you so we about bounce the car of the road with excitement, then we go to this lovely colorful building, it was the NEW prairie Fire Museum discovery centre, it is Just awesome,  So much to do there and discover. We will go again granny said during winter, because we were getting tired we had been out so long, there  were dinosaurs to actually build, and just tons of things to do!, next time we go we will just go there, they even have a cafe,
on the way home we needed a drink and granny got me a happy meal , Ian wasn't hungry he just wanted a chocolate milk and ate 2 of my nuggets!! we got home late for naps but we were very happy tired boys and think we had a super fun summer break, Granny said we could not have fitted more in if we tried and we both broke ourselves but still had lots of fun, including a vacation!!!! God was very good to us!!
Next will be fall Fun an apple picking, after school maybe,

Child labor rules broken

We had a work bee today and the boys especially Jake thought it was GOOD, Ian not so much although he liked trying on clothing, I think he will be your Fashion Boy!!

All the Garage toys are sorted and the boys clothing sizing established as you know,

Some comennts that made me chuckle,

Ian: I no like that shirt,

Ian: Works No Good!

Ian: why we has to work Granny?

Ian: I no Like work Granny I no want Treat tomorrow I wants Nuffin.

Jake, Work is good Granny it makes you grow Muscles?

Jake: I like helping you.

Jake: My Daddy Works I want to be like Him,

Jake: Learning to work Makes Daddy and Mommy and god Happy doesn't it Granny?

Jake: I really would like a Strawberry shortcake ice cream when I'm don't?

Jake: I'm a Big boy aren't I granny:

Ian : I no want an Ice Cream I no like Work,

Ian: I no want to grow Up like Daddy.

 

To funny this was going on all the time , different age and totally different personality!! To cute if you heard the voices and tones!!!

 

At the end Jake said Can we Have Macdonald Granny we worked very hard, Granny said No we will eat healthy today, Friday we will go out and maybe eat something out, Ok granny he said that's a Good Idea If I eat all my vegables, can I have an Icecream, Granny I love you!!! AH how to melt a Heart, Ian says Me no want Ice cream Can I have yoghurt Granny, I love you Granny!! What does a Granny Do?

They ate a Healthy lunch !!!!!

Mechanics at Work

Drive In

We had an awesome day, Granny said if we take care of the cars we can go to the drive in again with winter not far away, after breakfast we cleaned up then drove to the store . NOT in our cars, we picked out snacks for the drive in, of course all were unhealthy, we wanted Donuts so granny bought 1 to share, we wanted oreos so granny bought Gluten free so she could keep them. we wanted  candy so Ian and I picked a small packet each but were only allowed a Few, we picked wafer Ice cream bowls and birthday cake ice cream, and Granny picked  Little Smokey's, Beans,apples and carrots Oh no healthier Food and she did get chips. then we went to Granny's and we had to wait in the kitchen until the drive in was open,  once it was open we drove our cars in, and had our first snack a part of a donut with water, and started watching Willy Wonka, then we needed more snacks , granny was our waitress!!!! she said she always Is HA HA, so next snack was One cookie,  then a Few of our candies, Ian's was sour jellies mine was mint chocolates,  we still needed more snacks but these were spread out over the Movie, so we had chips, then granny bought smokies and apple with a juice box,  we were getting so full we didn't need pop corn,  Granny said the only thing we could have now  before more sweet stuff was to finish apples and  healthy things so we finished apples and she bought a very small bowl of ice cream we couldn't eat it all, We were giggling and so happy it was so much fun,  we then had 30 minutes to play with the toys before we came home for a Nap we were both VERY tired, Granny asked what was the best part of the day, Ian said NUFFIN, granny was sad when he said that but she said to me I think he is tired and a bit cranky, I said the best part was sitting with you and watching a movie granny, Ian is having a difficult week after having mommy and Daddy all last week, so we understand he is a little cranky this week, but after we got home he told granny it was FUN.
and he loved her, Granny is a Little sad summer break is almost over but we really have had a Lot of fun considering granny was away injured for part of it, we made lots of good memories, did lots of New fun things and some old things, Granny has to put one thing she had planned on hold until I'm healed but other than that were doing great
Tomorrow we will stay home a Lot of the day Granny and Us boys are going to sort our clothing, were getting so tall, and we may do craft or go somewhere for a walk were not sure yet,

We are finishing of our summer break and thankfully its a pretty lay back easy events week. plus we can adjust anyway because I broke my collar bone, so no jumping of things for me or running around crazy, Yesterday we had a great Day Granny and Ian plus I helped as much as I could cleaned out our upstairs toy closet, granny threw out all the Junk. We didn't see the junk but she promised it was Junk.
:) then we cleaned up and went to the library, we both loved it there and spent a lot of time reading books and choosing books, granny will take us each week probably to pick new ones, we love reading new stories,
After that we went to the pet store and saw the Puppies in puppy day care, some cats,lizards,Rats,birds and our favorite the hamster's, Granny said shes going to buy Us one for Christmas and keep it at her house if we like, so we picked the house we like, and were calling it freddy,
Then we met Gramps, at Chili's for his birthday Lunch and we ate so much granny thought we would burst, we ate lots of corn chips, Ian ate them with salsa, I had Mac and Cheese, Ian had Pizza, Granny Had soup and salad because shes trying to lose weight, and Gramps had soup and a rice bowl, then I asked the Lady would the do happy birthday, she said they don't usually but I'm so cute and well mannered she would, then Ian and I and gramps Got Free and chocolate Lava Cake!!! and we ate it like we had never been fed,
Today we did the Funnest thing We made Cars out of boxes to have a Drive in movie theater tomorrow, so we will sit in our cars and have a Movie day and eat snacks in our cars at Granny's house, we are very excited, you will see the photos of the cars in the photos if we don't get them here, we got Covered in paint, and we had to have a Bath, then granny had to clean the Bath, but we did it out side so that was good and it was nice and cool today, Granny even cleaned the garage floor where we made a Mess, but it was so much fun!!.
We Had lunch and were very tired we had built to cars in one day that's hard work. Ian got very upset when he told granny he wasn't going to pick up his toys sh told him ,"do you want me to throw them away" he said NO , so granny said then you need to pick them up so he did it very fast! he was a Very good boy!!.
We are having another fun week and granny said even though I cant run and climb up things we will still have fun,
